Spoil Your Pooch – Giveaway Courtesy of K9 Advantix

The Dog Bowl StorePart of myย preparing my pooch for summer involves a trip to my local pet store, The Dog Bowl. This year’s haul included dental chews, a new brush, 2 new toys, and a few knuckles for Moe to gnaw on. I also stocked up on poop bags and a new collar earlier in the spring so I was ready for summer once I grabbed my summer’s worth of K9 Advantix to protect Moe from ticks.

There is something so heartwarming about watching Moe run excitedly around my apartment with his new toy in his mouth. Right now Moe is enjoying his new chew toy from the Dog Bowl. Everyone knows I do everything to keep my dog healthy and happy. From our annual vet visits and monthly care to avoid heartworm, ticks, and other parasites, to my bringing him to his favourite places to run and play and frequent trips to the store for new toys and bones, I try to do everything I can to keep Moe happy. I even buy ice cream on cones despite being unable to eat the cone because I get so much joy out of giving him the bottom!

You Would Do Anything To Spoil Your Dog Right?

93% of Canadian dog owners say they would do anything to keep their dog happy including 75% of owners buying premium dog food, 48% buying extra treats and toys for their pets, and 31% identified dental care and grooming as important to their dogs. Who doesn’t like to spoil their dog!?

At the same time, only 30% of dog owners protect their dogs from ticks and the spread of Lyme disease. With summer in full swing and your pets spending increased time outdoors both in the city and up at the cottage, many owners still aren’t protecting their dogs from this serious but easily preventable disease! 34% of owners don’t even consider Lyme disease a serious threat and only 6% could recognize the symptoms if their dogs were infected.

For me, it’s just easier to use an easy topical treatment like K9 Advantix to protect Moe and to keep my worry-wart brain at bay!

My dog deserves to be spoiled because she had been sick for a long time with allergies. So much so that we were almost ready to put her down ๐Ÿ™ After narrowing down what the cause was she is doing much better and is on the road to recovery. She deserves this for all she has been through.

Jack is my 7 year old Jack Russel . He has been my best friend , my confident, my smile when life has me frowning. He can turn any rough day into a happy one with a quick wag of his mini tail. He deserves the world and I hope we have given him the happiest healthiest home he could ever have. We sure try! He is definitely one of the family and he truly deserves a treat like this.

I lost my 3 year old pup last Christmas after he ran away during my visit home. I got Parker – a 5 month old part whippet, part Jack to help me get over my loss and although she will never replace my old dog, she brings a smile to my face every day. She’s my best friend and anyone who meets her immediately falls in love…PS. she’s eyeballing my computer screen right now. She wants that ball!
