I know I tweeted about it a bijillion times last week, but I am soooo in love with Tokyo Police Club’s new album, Forcefield. Anyone that is friends with me on Rdio knows that I have been listening to the album on repeat since I discovered it last week. Late last week Dine Alone and Tokyo Police Club released a music video from the album’s first single – and my official 2014 summer jam – Hot Tonight. The new album is a marked departure from Tokyo Police Club’s old sound and I was incredibly surprised and happy to hear how the Newmarket boys have grown into the Toronto indie music scene.
