It’s a mixology celebration, nitches! Hennessy’s commitment to creating world-class cognac is matched only by their commitment to artistic creation and innovation. On November 21st Hennessy is bringing both to life in a live mixology event at UNIUN Nightclub in Toronto. The “Global Art of Mixing” event will blend live music and mixed drinks based on four basic flavours that mix perfectly with Hennessy cognac – berry, citrus, ginger, and apple.

The Hennessy Artistry event will also feature live entertainment from the Hennessy Talent Quest winner Colin Response and Grammy-nominated artist Glenn Lewis as well as DJ Jazzy Jeff and DJ Premier.

Need to get in the Mixing mood? Here are four recipes using the flavours apple, berry, ginger and citrus to be paired with Hennessy V.S to amplify the flavours already in the cognac:

Citrus

1.5 oz Hennessy, 3.5 oz cola, 0.5 oz lime juice

Pour Hennessy into highball, add lime juice and cubed ice (fill the glass), 1/2 fill glass with cola, stir gently, add more cola and garnish with a Lime wedge.

 

Hy Berry easy W

1.5 oz Hennessy, 3.5 oz cranberry juice

Pour Hennessy into highball, add cubed ice (fill the glass), top with Cranberry juice. Garnish with a Lime wedge. Add apple juice for an extra twist.

 

 

Hy Apple Easy W

1.5 oz Hennessy, 3.5 oz apple juice

Pour Hennessy into highball, add cubed ice (fill the glass), top with good quality cloudy apple juice. Garnish with freshly sliced apple. Pair with meat dishes that involve turkey, beef and pork.

 

Ginger

1.5 oz Hennessy, 3.5 oz ginger ale

Pour Hennessy into highball, add cubed ice (fill the glass), top with Ginger ale. Garnish with a lime wedge.
