RSVP: Steam Whistle Oktoberfest – September 21, 2013 (+ Win Tickets!)

I may have never been to Munich but I have been to my fair share of Oktoberfest parties and it just so happens that one of my favourite Toronto breweries hosts one heck of an Oktoberfest party! Join Steam Whistle co-founders Cam and Greg and Brewmaster Marek as they kick off Oktoberfest with a ceremonial keg-tapping down at the Roundhouse at their third annual Oktoberfest celebration on Saturday September 21 from 2-11pm.

Steamwhistle Oktoberfest party

The festival includes a complimentary ceramic Oktoberfest stein (to fill with Steam Whistle, obvs) and authentic Oktoberfest treats like pretzels, sausage, and sauerkraut. Tickets are only $25 and include your first 1L bier.

RSVP: Tickets are only available at the door. Prost!

I went to germany a few years ago for a RUDERN competition! (rowing competition). We were taught a bunch of sexually suggestive words. Nothing I could use now..

Ya. it seems very simple but my German co-worker uses it all the time.

    Sample sentences: “Ya ya vhatever”

When paired with ‘what’ you can use it instead of hello on the phone. Sample: “ya vhat”
