Girls in Tech is hosting their next Power Hour Social – a series of events to make it easier for women working in tech to share their work and experiences while networking with other amazing women in tech. I’ve attended a few of their events in the past and have heard from some really motivating and inspiring women who have never thought twice about their gender in relation to their jobs or passions.
You can only imagine how thrilled I was to be asked to speak at the next Power Hour Social on July 4th! I will be chatting about how I ended up in my current job and what it’s like to work for one of Silicon Valley’s fastest growing tech companies, Eventbrite! Eventbrite in Toronto is also sponsoring an Appy Hour at the event to showcase their tech solutions for events over food and drinks.
Get your tickets now and start crossing your fingers for nice weather so we can all hang out on the gorgeous Edelman patio!
The other speakers include:
Lisa Zhang – Co-Founder, PolyChart – Lisa recently presented at Extreme Startups 2013 Demo Day, and she shares her story about running a start-up, partnering with start-up accelerators and her passion for data visualization.
Lindsey Goodchild, CEO and Dessy Daskalov, CTO, Greengage Mobile – Greengage Platform is revolutionizing how corporations engage with employees. Lindsey and Dessy will share business and tech insights on running a tech business and scaling for growth.
