One of the things I was really sad to have missed when I was recently in San Francisco was a wine tour. With popular wine regions like Napa Valley and Sonoma only a short drive away, it would have been great to experience California’s wine country while I was there.
And while it’s unfortunate that I won’t get to see the grapes in their sunny home, I am grateful that the folks at iYellow Wine Club have extended an invite to their California Cruisin’ wine event on March 9, 2013 at the Hoxton.
The Cruise to California will feature more than 30 wines from the Sunshine State, food truck style snacks, and music provided by DJ Sam Fleming of Evolved Entertainment.
iYellow wine club events are not your typical high brow wine snob events. Wine experience varies and the tasting experience encourages exploration and questions. It really is a great way to find out what you like – and what you don’t – in a relaxed and nonjudgmental setting. I attend almost every iYellow event and have really been building my wine knowledge in a really informal (and fun!) way. I’ll be sure to post a post-event recap so you can see what it’s all about!
RSVP: Tickets are available online at $55 per person and includes all wine samples and snacks.
