TasteAway.com, a sister site of Teambuy.ca, is the latest online pick-up and delivery ordering platform to launch with a selection of over 150 restaurants in Toronto and the GTA. Their goal is to provide a more visual marketplace for customers to “eat with their eyes”. They also have an additional edge over their competition with a native app that is launching soon.
The website is free to use – you only pay what you would pay ordering directly from the website. You can pay online with your credit card or with cash on delivery of your order.
An interesting aspect of TasteAway.com is the visual aspect added to ordering. If you click on the Crave tab (pictured above), you can see popular dishes from local restaurants available in your area. Feed your visual appetite, place your order, and try not to drool on your keyboard while you wait for your order to arrive.
I’ll be testing the service out myself tonight and will update this with any notes about my own experience!
Win $25 for Your TasteAway.com Order!
I’m giving away two $25 credits to try TasteAway.com to help you tackle Superbowl snack hunger! All you need to do to use it is sign up with your first name and e-mail address.
With Superbowl Sunday coming up, I’m going to make this a quick contest. I’ll announce the winner Friday afternoon so that the winners can use their credit for Superbowl snacks if they want! Imagine ordering in chicken wings or sushi and not worrying about cooking before the big game. I know I’ll be doing it!
Enter using the Rafflecopter below. As a bare minimum, you have to comment on this post.
