Do you like icewine? Have you ever tried it?
Icewine is a type of dessert wine that is made by grapes that are picked while they are still frozen on the vine. It’s no wonder Canada produces some of the best icewine anywhere! In fact, 75% of Canadian icewine comes from Ontario!
In celebration of Canada’s best, iYellow Wine Club is hosting a big event at the Thompson Hotel on February 7th. Not only is this going to be a huge event, but I also have a promo code for 20% off tickets for a limited time!
Want to sample more than 30 Ontario wines and icewines with some anti-wine snobs? The Thompson will provide the venue and canapes, DJ Sam Fleming will provide the music and entertainment, and you can bring the fun! iYellow events are great for people of all levels of wine knowledge; in fact, their events are meant to build your wine knowledge and confidence. I’ve been on a Niagara wine tour with iYellow and learned basically everything I know about wine now. Most importantly, through copious amount of sampling and talking with other people on the tour I’ve learned what I like and what I don’t like.
Join me in learning about Ontario icewine at iYellow Ice Fest!
