While the start to today’s work day was slow (I blame the food coma and treacherous commute from the suburbs to the city home office), I’m back in the office and back on the blog.
More importantly, I survived the holidays filled with family, tempting gluten-filled treats (I abstained!), and a bouncing boxer named Moe.
Here’s how I fared in photos:
Christmas Eve traditions with family. Moe was spoiled but snuck into his stocking anyway (and we let him).
First time seeing my high school BFF in over a year, and her family in about 8-10 years!
This year my brothers, Jordan, and I joined their family traditions including a midnight Polish feast!
Santa didn’t appreciate our sassy “Eat it” note and made a few diva requests for next year 😉
Merry Christmas from my temporary home office in the suburbs!
Spoiled by Jordan with a new Michael Kors laptop sleeve!
…and a new fur headband. Sorry folks, but this beaut is 100% real and I’m loving it.
Monogrammed mugs for Jordan and I.
To be filled with these new treats from Davids Tea.
A tired boxer is a happy boxer (who has learned my technique of “if you ignore them they’ll go away” ;))
Depends on who you ask…
My Christmas contribution: chocolate fudge brownies topped with peppermint (with a slice for those who don’t like peppermint). Gluten-free, of course.
And more treats that passed the gluten-free but still delicious test: peanut butter rice krispie treats topped with chocolate.
Holiday spills forever documented on Instagram.
Merry Christmas from this pooped pooch!
Hope your holidays were memorable too!
