#12DaysofContests – Day 10: 30 Day Membership and Personal Training at 99 Sudbury Gym

For the 10th day of Christmas JamieLeighTO.com gave to thee: a 30 day membership and 2 personal training sessions at the gym at 99 Sudbury!

I have been going to the gym at 99 Sudbury for the past 3 months thanks to a good deal I found on Buytopia. I am really impressed with how nice the gym is, how new their equipment is, and how friendly the staff are. (Bonus points go to the gyms that let me watch Flashpoint or Criminal Minds from the elliptical or stationary bikes!) Tonight I met with a personal trainer to go over my health and fitness goals and we put together a one-year plan to get me to my goal body shape and weight. I’ll be going back this week to have her put me to work on the gym floor. I’ve also been going to the spin classes led by spin instructor extraordinaire, Sam! She may not know how much I like her based on my eye-rolling every time she tells us to work harder, but I would be at every single one of her classes if only I could. The gym also has kettle bell training, yoga, and bootcamp-style classes if group training is what motivates you.

Besides, your New Year’s resolution is probably going to involve hitting the gym more and being healthier so you’re going to want to score this prize:

Enter to win a free 30-day membership and 2 personal training sessions from 99 Sudbury (worth $269)!

My fitness/health goals for 2013 are mostly centered around running, so running my first 30K and pb’ing at the half-marathon distance (preferably a sub 2:10 time). I also want to incorporate more cross training!

Because I’m not a stomach flu away from my goal weight, I’d like to take up spinning. I don’t bike to work anymore, I think it’d be a good sub!

My fitness goal for 2013 is to actually try and do some form of exercise/fitness! I tend to bike a lot throughout the summer (about 10-15 km a day) but once winter comes I don’t do much, I want to change that this year!

I need to add something to my routine other than biking!
