The third annual #PawsGala brought to you by Paws for the Cause will take over 99 Sudbury tomorrow night from eight til late. Paws for the Cause is a Toronto-based organization of dog lovers raising money for animal welfare groups and their own annual scholarship called The Chloe Award which is given to a veterinary student at the University of Guelph.
The 2012 benefactor is Central Toronto Veterinary Referral Clinic. Paws for the Cause will help subsidize a portion of surgery costs for owners who cannot afford life-saving surgeries for their pets.
This year, Paws for the Cause is also partnering with Theron Humphrey for a special art exhibit featuring Humphrey’s “This Wild Idea” project. The project aims to use photography to connect people and share their story; including the story of Theron’s coonhound Maddie. “Maddie on Things” is a blog dedicated to sharing Maddie’s everyday life. Theron’s prints will be on display as part of the Paws Gala event.
This will be my first event as Toronto’s Eventbrite Ambassador so be sure to say hi! I’m flying solo 😉
