When I was in high school I looooved a good horror movie. Psychological thrillers, slasher films, and blood and gore – I could handle any of it! Every October the McDonalds I managed in high school went to Screemers for a “crew night” and I would spend the whole night running through each haunted house, repeatedly scaring the pants off myself. No matter how many times a man chases you with a chainsaw, you run for your life with your heart beating in your ears.
Now that I’m
wiser, more mature old I prefer things a little less…intense. To be honest, blood and guts makes my tummy queasy and I can’t handle anything that might scare me – I have enough trouble sleeping as it is. I am happily living vicariously through the guests of my haunted screem park client, Screemers.
The rundown: Screemers is a haunted scream park with locations in Toronto and Hamilton. The Toronto location, down at Exhibition grounds, features 6 haunted houses and a “Midway of Mayhem”, all included with your admission. With over 100 ghosts and ghouls roaming the property, don’t assume you are safe just because you aren’t in a haunted house. Since the last time I went in high school they have even added a bar.
I’m hosting a fun and intimate event for Toronto and Hamilton bloggers to experience Screemers on opening night. I’m sorry if you can’t make it, but you’re welcome to come to Screemers anyway! Tickets are only $23.50 and there is a coupon for $5 off here.
While we countdown to opening night and Halloween, you can follow all of the Screemers fun on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. We’ve got a great social strategy and contests to roll out in the next three weeks so pay attention!
