Ahhhh December. The month of endless schmoozing, cocktails, little black dresses, ugly Christmas sweaters and a never-ending list of events and parties you are obligated to go to. It’s all a little exhausting so this year I’m rewarding myself by buying tickets to one of the biggest, most-talked about parties – and it’s all for a good cause!
HoHoTO started in 2008 with a bunch of internet people (ahem, like you and I) discussing Toronto’s hungry and disadvantaged. They got together and threw the first HoHoTO and since then, the annual event has raised over $150,000 for the Daily Bread Food Bank.
This isn’t your average holiday party. Don’t worry about stiff dinners making small-talk with boring people, lame DJs and texting your friend from the bathroom to fake an emergency so you can get out of there. HoHoTO is a full-on festive party complete with a fully stocked bar, good music, dancing, prizes and tons of surprises. Party IRL with all your fave online friends. Invite your offline friends to meet all the cool people you’ve met while you haven’t been hanging out with them.
